When I was a young adult I looked forward to the time I could move to the city where I thought life was really happening. No one could have convinced me I would return to the country and live in a community even smaller than what I was raised in. The pleasures of knowing the folks around me somehow give me comfort.
Two doors down from Prairie Quilt is a charming little tea room where I often have lunch during the week. When dining there I feel more like I am at someone’s beautifully decorated home than a public place. Most of the people eating there are either customers of Prairie Quilt or friends. If you happen to come to Hennessey during lunch time Monday through Friday you might want to stop by and sit awhile. I know you will enjoy the company and the atmosphere.
