On the weekend of the show we had planned to do an event since so many of our customers told us they had scheduled taking off of work to come to the show. Unfortunately the weather was icy which caused us to postpone it. We have rescheduled our Cirque de SEW-Leil until February 4th. This is an event that has not been held before but will prove to be a lot of fun. There will be a scavenger hunt and anyone who finishes it will win a prize. We have collected prizes valued over $1,500 so you could win something fabulous such as this $200 collection of embroidery thread. We have plenty of fun for you and you will have the opportunity to see the Prairie Quilt Creativity Center if you have not already done so.
January 2017 marks a milestone of the loss of the OKC Winter Quilt Show, owned by Vickie Hundert. Vickie passed away the latter part of November 2016 leaving no one to take over the quilt show. The first OKC Winter Quilt Show was started in 2002 by myself, in 2009 I sold it to Vickie. I will miss Vickie, she was always gracious and kind.
