For over a decade we have been doing a monthly event called Saturday Sampler. It is every second Saturday, except in January when it is on the first Saturday. Folks come from as far as two hours away just to collect their block and to see what is new in the sewing world. There is always a demonstration of a technique or sewing tip along with a joke. These ladies and gents that come enjoy the education and the entertainment. | These three quilts are offered in Kaffe Fassett or Kansas Troubles fabrics from the Sister Sampler Quilt book. We found the Sister Sampler Quilts book from AnneMarie Chany to be something that even a beginner could easily do. The twelve blocks we did from this one have nothing harder than a half square triangle in it. If you want easy peasey, this is the one for you. This quilt is offered in Kansas Troubles or Kaffe Fassett, and with an option of three different settings.
For the machine embroiderer, we chose a design of crazy quilt blocks done in a batik background. They are mystifying to say the least.
